How to Use a BigCommerce Coupon or Deal
BigCommerce doesn’t run public promo codes, so the saving comes from how you start and how you pay. Here’s how to get the lowest price:
Step 1: Click any “Get Deal” card above or the button below to open BigCommerce.
Step 2: Start the 15-day free trial. You only need an email address and a store name, and no credit card.
Step 3: Build your store during the trial. Everything you set up stays in place when you upgrade.
Step 4: When you choose a plan, switch the toggle to annual billing. That takes 25% off: Core is $29 a month instead of $39.
Step 5: Connect an Embedded Payment Provider such as Stripe, PayPal or BigCommerce Payments so you don’t pay BigCommerce’s extra Open Payment Provider fee on each order.
Core
Core replaced the old Standard plan on June 1, 2026 and costs $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly. It’s for new stores selling up to $30K a year, and includes the full storefront, single-page checkout, coupons and gift cards, multi-currency and real-time shipping quotes. Support is 24/7 chat and email; phone support is an add-on.
Growth
Growth (formerly Plus) costs $105 a month, or $79 billed yearly, for stores up to $100K a year. It adds 24/7 phone support, and its Open Payment Provider fee is half of Core’s at 1.0%.
Scale
Scale (formerly Pro) is BigCommerce’s most popular plan at $399 a month, or $299 billed yearly. It covers $33,333 a month in sales, then charges a flat 0.9% on anything above that instead of forcing a plan jump.
Performance
Performance (formerly Enterprise) starts at $1,499 a month billed yearly, with custom terms, a dedicated customer success manager and no Open Payment Provider fee.
Other Ways to Save on BigCommerce
- Pay annually: every self-serve plan is 25% cheaper on yearly billing, which is $120 a year saved on Core and $1,200 on Scale.
- Use an Embedded Payment Provider: Stripe, PayPal Braintree, Adyen, Klarna, Afterpay, BigCommerce Payments and the others on BigCommerce’s Embedded list carry no BigCommerce fee, while other gateways cost 0.6% to 2.0% of each order.
- Stretch the free trial: the trial lasts 15 days, and BigCommerce says its team can extend it if you need more time to decide.
- Start on the right plan: if your sales are well under $30K a year, Core is enough; you’ll be moved up automatically only when your trailing 12-month GMV passes the limit.

What Happens After the Free Trial?
At the end of the 15 days, BigCommerce asks you to pick a plan, and everything you built stays. If you don’t upgrade, your store goes offline and BigCommerce keeps your data for 90 days before deleting it. BigCommerce’s trial page also notes that trial stores now support only offline and test payments, so plan to upgrade before you take real orders. Core, Growth and Scale have no contract, and you can cancel from the control panel at any time.
Is BigCommerce Worth It?
BigCommerce is worth it if you want a hosted store with no BigCommerce transaction fee on the main payment providers, built-in B2B and multi-storefront options, and room to grow without replatforming. It costs more than some rivals once you add the Open Payment Provider fee for other gateways, so compare it in our BigCommerce vs Shopify comparison and our full BigCommerce review before you commit.
BigCommerce Coupon Code FAQs
Is there a working BigCommerce coupon code right now?
No public one. When we checked bigcommerce.com on 29 Oct 2026 there was no promo code; the official ways to save are paying annually (25% off every self-serve plan) and the free 15-day trial. Codes promising 50% off or more on third-party sites are not listed by BigCommerce.
How much does BigCommerce cost?
On 29 Oct 2026 the pricing page listed Core at $39 a month, Growth at $105 and Scale at $399 when paid monthly, or $29, $79 and $299 a month billed annually. Performance is custom, starting at $1,499 a month billed annually.
Does BigCommerce have a free trial?
Yes. BigCommerce offers a 15-day free trial with no credit card required, and the store you build carries over when you pick a paid plan. BigCommerce says it can extend the trial if you contact its team.
How much can I save on BigCommerce with annual billing?
Annual billing takes 25% off the monthly price: Core drops from $39 to $29 a month, Growth from $105 to $79 and Scale from $399 to $299. On Core that is $348 a year instead of $468.
Does BigCommerce charge transaction fees?
Since June 1, 2026, self-serve plans pay an Open Payment Provider fee (2.0% on Core, 1.0% on Growth, 0.6% on Scale) on orders processed through providers outside BigCommerce's Embedded list. Orders through Embedded Payment Providers such as Stripe, PayPal Braintree, Adyen and BigCommerce Payments have no BigCommerce fee.
Can I cancel BigCommerce at any time?
Yes. Core, Growth and Scale have no contract, and BigCommerce says you can cancel from the control panel at any time and billing stops immediately. Performance plans can run on a contract.
Conclusion: BigCommerce Coupon Codes 2026
There’s no public BigCommerce coupon code live right now, and the “22 coupons” and “56% off” figures on older pages aren’t on BigCommerce’s site. The real savings are simple: start with the free 15-day trial, pay annually to take 25% off (Core is $29 a month), and run payments through an Embedded provider so BigCommerce doesn’t add its 0.6% to 2.0% fee.
